Rosewood Is A Spicy Dramedy About Solving Murders And Embracing Life

If you’re into shows that are filled with clever one-liners and unique problem solving, you should checkout Rosewood. The show explores how to turn bad/painful circumstances into motivation to help others. It stars Morris Chestnut, Jaina Lee Ortiz, Gabrielle Dennis and Lorraine Toussaint.

The show is about the dashing successful Miami private pathologist Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, Jr. (Morris Chestnut) teaming up with feisty Detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz) to solve “unsolvable” murders. Rosewood flawlessly uses his terminal illness as fuel to create a successful practice that works alongside the Miami Police Department to reveal the tiny clues each murder victim leaves behind. When his mother (Lorraine Toussaint) tells him about a young lady that she knows death, he eagerly takes on the responsibility of solving her murder with Annalise.

I love this show because it addresses how one can face adversity (illness or loss of a loved one) and still live a successful, fulfilling life with boldness and a smile. I also love that it’s filled with ethnically diverse talent (especially the handsome Morris). I look forward to tuning into FOX every Wednesday to see how everything unfolds on Rosewood.
