Skirt: Swankblue | Top: Cotton On | Necklace: Sassy Jones Boutique | Shoes: Call It Spring | Wallet: Call It Spring
Brunch is always a good idea, especially when it involves good food and a great view.
This #MDW, I attended the private friends + family brunch preview at the rooftop Leaf Bar in the Hyatt Place hotel in Flushing, Queens. I had the most amazing burger, and a great sangria. A little secret about this look? It's a repeat offender!
I'm really big on buying timeless pieces that will still look fresh and on-trend, and this skirt is definitely one of them. The colors are bright, but not competing and it has pockets! I decided to, once again, pair the skirt with a simple black, silk tank top and play with the colors in my accessories.
I love this necklace from Sassy Jones Boutique. I'm usually not a fan of silver, but the blue tones in this necklace drew me in when I first saw it at the Cocktails with Claire event hosted by Claire Sulmers and Miss Diddy LA a few weeks ago. As a stated in Coco's Chat Episode 5, statement jewelry is going to be big this spring and summer.
These sandals are a killer, I won't lie to you. But they are great for brunch, lunch and dinner, where you're sitting! I love that the lime green heel pulls out the hints of lime green in the skirt. The black and white pattern is just enough to make the shoe interesting, but the white minimalist strap across the front keeps this from turning into a circus heel.
I love a hint of mixing prints. This wallet is perfect because the base pattern is neutral & classic: black and white stripes. The hint of color is complementary, with pink flowers and green leaves.
